A Canadian Lunch

Sahara and Marie are back at work today and they had lunch with us. We had poutine, which is a dish invented in Canada. It’s French fries covered in cheese curds and dark gravy. It’s meant to be a comfort food, but it also makes you want to sleep because it’s so carb heavy. Good food.

I gave Grace a big kiss for taking me around the world on our food tour. She said it was her pleasure, but I think I enjoyed the food more than she enjoyed making it.

At 2pm is our wedding rehearsal, so Cadence is all spiffed up and looking her best for the family and guests. It should be an easy rehearsal and there’s only going to be 15 people at the rehearsal and after-party.

I won’t be able to write again until this evening at the rehearsal party.
