Grace outdid herself for dinner. We started with honey garlic shrimp on rice, followed by duck coq au vin (Amelie’s favourite), followed by Mediterranean chickpea salad with homemade dressing, followed by melons, berries, grapes, and cheeses. We finished off a couple of bottles of red wine with dinner and had a bottle of Champagne with dessert. I’ve missed Grace’s cooking. Everything she makes is SO good.
Cadence is helping Grace to clean up from dinner, and Amelie is going to spend the evening with Jennifer telling her all about our honeymoon. After they’re done cleaning, Grace and Cadence are going to join me here in my library.
