Holly never did move in that weekend. She said she wanted to wait until her 2 weeks at the restaurant was up.
Meantime, I’ve had a change of heart. I don’t want to live with anyone right now. I’d rather live alone for the time being.
Holly was hurt, but she’ll get over it.

My parents’ anniversary is tomorrow, so I’m heading down there to celebrate with them.
As of tomorrow, they’ve been married 67 years. They’ve been a couple for over 70.

Holly handed in her two weeks notice to the restaurant yesterday and will be moving in this weekend.
When she does, I’ll be supporting her while she builds her YouTube channel.

The doctor says I’m well enough to go home tomorrow (Monday).
I’m going to miss two very special nurses: Brooke and Makenzy.
I’m excited to go home, though.

When the girls come to visit me in the hospital, they always wear high heels.
As they walk down the corridors, I can detect the familiar click-click-click from their heels from quite a distance.
Nothing wrong with my ears, that’s for sure.

On July 25, I collapsed at home.
I’ve been in ICU in hospital since then. The doctors say there is a problem with my kidneys, which apparently is enough to make anyone collapse.
I’ll keep you all posted.
Follow up Edit:
I was told today that my kidneys are doing well and that I don’t need to be in ICU any longer.
They would have moved me yesterday but there were no beds available. They’re going to try again tomorrow.
