If you stop moving, you’re dead.

I’ve been slacking on my exercise routine lately.

Normally, I go out for a walk in the forest every day, but lately I’ve been quite sedentary. It’s just been laziness.

I have a lot to live for – my parents are in their late 80s and I learn something new from them every day. I have a new grandson who looks exactly like me even at his tender age of 3 months. And of course, I have Willow who is less than half my age and full of energy.

I’m going for a walk now because I’ve been told that once you pass 50, if you stop moving, you’re dead.

  1. Since I unfortunately don’t know your name, I’ll just say “Hi” and compliment you on your blog. You address things exactly the way I see them. I like that very much.

If I remember correctly, a few posts ago you wrote that Willow is preparing for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. May I ask in what sport – or discipline – is she so good at?

Apart from that, I wish you all a wonderful Sunday.

Many greetings from the Frankfurt/Heidelberg area …

    1. Thank you for the compliments about my blog. It’s always nice to interact with someone of like mind.

I’d really rather not say which sport Willow competes in as it may compromise her identity. As we get closer to the 2024 Olympics and her spot is more assured, I’ll be certain to let everyone know in which sport she participates.

Many greetings from the Toronto, Canada area.
