Hi everyone,

My hands are still terribly swollen and painful, so I won’t be writing new material or answering any questions until Monday at the very earliest – possibly Tuesday or Wednesday.

I’m keeping the stuff in my inbox and will answer when I’m able.

Hi Mr. Stepford. 24/USA/Female/5’2/138 Military GF here again. I wanted to update you and let ya know that I took your advice and I’m starting to feel a little better. Enough to clear all the fogginess out of my brain anyway and think more clearly. I also started journaling about my day, but trying to keep everything on the positive side to keep my spirits up. Anyway, thanks for your help!

Ah yes.  If I remember correctly, you had written for advice about depression and I had recommended Cod Liver Oil and Iron tablets.  Glad to hear it’s working for you.

It’s only been a few days since you’ve written, so they haven’t had a chance to take full effect yet, but I’m glad to hear you’re seeing improvements.  Keep taking them and every day will get easier.  It’s probably the iron clearing the fog from your head.  That’s important because it helps you to think rationally about depression and make clear choices on how to defeat it.  You’ll probably notice an improvement in eyesight in the next few days, too.

The journaling is a great idea.  That way you can practice thinking in positive terms.  Keep that up, too.

I know it’s tough right now.  I’ve been there so I know what it’s like.  But keep fighting.  I assure you, it gets easier every single day.

Should a girl be allowed to persure a job in STEM? 19/USA/Female/5’2/114 lbs

Of course.  Girls can pursue any job they wish.

Will she be happy in the field?  It’s doubtful.  Would she be much, much happier if she were a homemaker?  Very likely.

Don’t equate having a particular job with being happy.  Sure, it may bring you a lot of money, but you know the old saying about money not buying you happiness.
